Samus Apocalypse: Revelation

It had been a full week of relaxation and recovery for Samus Aran. The blonde bounty hunter was feeling much more relaxed after her hiatus on the seemingly empty planet. She had not spent the entire week outside of her ship, because at least some of it had been spent in her quarters, but the majority of her time when the sun was up she was wandering the planet having a good time.

For the miniscule inhabitants of the planet, it might as well have been the end times. The titanic alien woman who had arrived on their home planet had devastated nearly every major population center there was over the last seven days, and all of their efforts to be noticed or get her attention were futile. At first, the people thought that the invader was there simply to destroy them, but it was soon enough apparent that she was just completely oblivious to their existence.

However, that knowledge wasn't much help, as all attempts at communication were utter failures. Whatever method of wireless communication she used was unable to detect or incompatible with their own methods, and her raw size made more physical methods impossible.

The inhabitants of the planet could only try to guess her next destination and flee from her path, a plan that only rarely worked. Over the days, it seemed like the blonde woman had discovered each and every major population center by accident, most ending up entirely or partially underfoot, but some shuddering other fates. Several cities were sat on, others flattened under a descending hand as she lowered herself or compressed underneath her body itself as she lay down to nap or read. Even the population centers she missed were often damaged by the quaking of her steps, or destroyed by disasters caused by her passage, such as rivers flooding, waves upon the ocean crashing, or mountains crumbling.

Not even the spacecraft itself was safe, as anyone who tried to enter via the doorway or small gaps found themselves atomized by the automatic sterilization protocols. This even applied to those unfortunate enough to find themselves stuck to her body or tangled in her flowing hair when she went back to her ship.

The global population had at least 20% casualties from her "vacation", and some began to fear that the alien would eventually destroy them all. However, as the seventh day began to finally draw to a close, the alien began to head back towards her ship and gave every indication of preparing to take off. Samus took note of the time and decided that she probably should go soon, as she could not be on vacation forever, and there was no telling what might have happened in Federation Space in her absence. Still, as she finally took off and scorched much of the ground directly below her ship in one final micro-cataclysm, she made note of this planets hyperspace coordinates. She had such a pleasant time here. She would be sure to visit it again sometime in the future.
