Joel had always been a fan of Cassie's writing, and, after meeting her online and striking up a friendship, wanted to hang out with her so that he could cheer her up. So he invited her out for a cup of coffee, not realizing what he was in for!
As he waited, loud tremors that reminded him of an approaching t-rex from Jurrasic Park drew near. Shortly afterwards, Cassie appeared from around a street corner. When she bent down to welcome him, he almost passed out from shock.
It's not often you befriend a giantess online.
